MEDICARE FOR ALL. U.S. SENATOR ED MARKEY.

"...let us resolve that the state of a family's health shall never depend on the size of a family's wealth”
-- Senator Ted Kennedy [D-MA]

David,

Senator Ted Kennedy made it his life's work to bring health care to every person in the United States.

Months after his passing, we were able to pass the Affordable Care Act through Congress. Though he didn't see it, the ACA was the first bold step toward Senator Kennedy's dream of covering every American -- and we did it with a law based on the health care system developed right here in Massachusetts.

It's time for us to take the next step forward.

I'm throwing my support behind Senator Bernie Sanders' "Medicare for All" plan. It's a single-payer system which will expand health care closer to universal coverage.

We're in the process of gathering a massive grassroots movement in support of Medicare for All.

Health care is a right for everyone, not a privilege for the rich. Every one of our citizens deserves the opportunity to fulfill their God-given potential. That's incredibly hard to do if you live in fear that one illness, one accident, could plunge you into debt and bankruptcy.

We're closer than we ever have been to universal coverage. Let's get the rest of the way there.

Support Medicare for All...

Thank you for taking action with me today.
