Open Enrollment for Rhode Islanders Is here. U.S. SENATOR SHELDON WHITEHOUSE.

Rhode Islanders,

Need to sign up for or renew your health insurance coverage for 2019? Open Enrollment for Rhode Island residents to sign up for health insurance ends December 31. You can head to HealthSource RI right now to learn about coverage options, find the plan that works best for you and your family, and get covered.

The Affordable Care Act is here to stay, and Rhode Island's health insurance marketplace is open for business. You may even qualify for financial assistance.

Signing up is easy. Here is some additional information to help you get started:
  • FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE: Last year, more than 8 in 10 Rhode Islanders qualified for financial assistance to purchase coverage or reduce their out-of-pocket costs. You can use this calculator to figure out how much you can save through Health Source RI.

  • SHOP FOR SAVINGS: Even if you found affordable health insurance last year, you should shop around to see if you qualify for a better deal this year. You can compare plans using the calculator linked above, or check out a brochure here.

  • GET HELP SIGNING UP: You can contact HealthSource RI at 1-855-840-4774 or drop by the walk-in center at 401 Wampanoag Trail in East Providence. Enrollment events will also be held throughout the state. Check out the schedule to find events near you.
Again, the deadline for enrolling in coverage for 2019 is December 31. Don't wait, you can sign up at HealthSourceRIright now. As always, please contact my office with questions.

Sincerely,

U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse
